The game freezes more often. Then I wait an hour to connect again. What happens ?

Same, constant crashes, the worst part, I need to sign out from windows because I can't alt tab, the game window freezes on the loading screen. Verifying game integrity didn't help.

♥♥♥♥, the hardest part of this game is getting past character select without crashing.

Same. It is constant, unrelenting crashes. Do they care? Negative review.

2. Clear your client's cache
If any cached client data has become corrupted it could also cause a variety of problems, from visual anomalies to crashes.

To clear your client's cache, go to "%AppData%\Path of Exile" on your computer and delete the cache folders.

Clearing your client's cache will clear out several temporary storage locations that Path of Exile uses for things like downloaded images and graphics shaders. After clearing cached shaders your client performance will be temporarily degraded while the client regenerates the shaders it needs. For this reason we recommend only clearing your client's cache as a last resort when troubleshooting a crash or other graphical problem, or if the size of the caches has become a problem.

works for me. couldn´t even start before. Maybe it works for you as well

It's still crashing, even after trying all these other things. However the Uninstall feature works great.

Thanks this actually worked for me. I have tried everything I thought and this made the game just stop crashing for me.

I've tried everything, reinstalling the game, system/steam update, steam files verification, removing poe cache, contacting support... still, game launches, I can login to character selection, but can't get into the game, because it crashes. Funny thing, 2 days ago it worked just fine after install...

Try changing servers using the "auto-select" option. I was in the same situation and that fixed it for me (I tried all the other things as well).
