Ancestral Protector Gone?

I guess the expansion takes out all Ancestral Protectors?Mine are gone.I just might be gone from this game too!!!

I mean, yeah. They even had video previews of a lot of the changes. I get that people don't search that information, but if you have questions, that is the logical place to start, or you should expect people to make fun of you. It's like panhandling on a corner... why do the work yourself if you can bother people and make them just give you what you want instead?

...yes, they removed them. And that is a really good thing for melee bulds. Since those ancestral totems used to be required for melee builds, so them removing the totems and transferring their power into the melee skill gems means it is now like you permanently have them active at all times. So in other words, it simply is a big QoL upgrade for melee builds, to try to make them more fun to play. Which is also why the patch notes show some really insane buffs for those melee skill gems.

really? with all the build possibilities in PoE, you're going to quit because DPS from totems has essentially been added to other active skill gems?
