So yeah, about that "standart T16" fight...
The only winning move is not to play.
You mentioned the other boss.
I said it's more like a standard fight, because it has none of what you're complaining about in the Infinite Hunger fight. I didn't say the boss you were talking about isn't as described.
And yes, it's about the difficulty of a T16 map boss. I had less than 2 million DPS and killed it in a few seconds in the initial encounter. If you get there and find it too difficult, then you're probably struggling with T16s, too.
When Sirus fight was first introduced, a lot of the mechanics had issues that made them more difficult then they should have been. Forget the glow on the meteor maze, sirus himself could actually block you from getting out the exit. The storms he spawwned during transitoin would track to you and could end up blocking the entrance if you die. Other stuff like that which really doesn't come out well enough till it's been run through a lot of times by players who give feedback. Now we have new bosses, and their mechanics will need some tweaking as well. Unfrotunate, but that is the way things go sometimes.
I went with lvl 74 and 2,5k life into the fight, my investment wasnt even a single ex and i was missing the last 4 ascendancy point because i still had to do two labs.
I went blind into the fight.
If you ever have done some maps, you should know abaout concecrated groud and know no to walk in it. So first i saw that green stuff i new, not to step in it.
As with almost every boss i tried to always stay behind him and circle him to avoid hits. Every time he moves his arms or says somethin i was ready to dodge and get some space between him and me. The arena is really big and you have lots of space.
As soon as he goes undergroud you dont have to be Einstein to know you better not cuddle with that thing but move away from it. Again you see that green trail behind the Boss. So again, better not step in it and better not cover alle the arena in green stuff.
In that swamp phase i didnt know what to do i tried to kill as many mobs as i could an hoped there is a cap and after reaching in i will get teleported back. But that didnt happen, so i walked an died.
Next time in the swamp phase i tried to walk asap, but died again without seeing the exit. So i looked for a guide on youtube, because i want to kill the boss.
I killed him in the next phase so i had not to go in the swamp again.
All in all i liked the fight and there are waaaaaay harder bosses in poe with much more complex mechanics. I didnt find him hard at all.
I had more trouble with some normal map bosses, like the chicken with the bow in canyon, that oneshots me everytime he hits me.
So maybe your Character ist that good or you need to pay more attention to the boss and his surrounding to kill him.
In addition to all this, some people like to do bosses blind and figuring out stuff. If you dont like this, you should look for a guide.
So you didn't have third and fourth lab done? What build is that and how did you navigate all the maps leading up to this boss without reaching a higher lvl than 74?
I simply died to often in maps to level fast. But i could do all Content and all bosses leading to this boss. Just with dying and using the portals i have got. Sometimes it worked out well, sometimes i needed all 6 portals.
Im playing explosive arrow.
I thought i was missing only the last lab, but when i wanted to do it i figured out i was also missing the lab before.
did u go with palsteron's EA?
No, it was crouching_tuna`s build
If you cant find it. Do it like i do and die in that phase and kill it after.
