frostblink of wintry blast

can anyone tell me how to get this please? I'm new to the game and still learning. Currently level 76

In the labyrinth, you sometimes get the option to transfigure a gem, sometimes you get "of the same color", which isn't too targeted. In higher variants of the labyrinth (lvl 68 and higher), the divine font at the end can grant a version of tranfiguration that uses the base gem you put it and transfigures it, if there are multiple it's still a random (weighted?) draw, but frostblink only has that one.

Make sure to get a default frostblink into your stash before running the labyrinth.

It's a transfigured skill gem and 99% of them come from The Labyrinth.

If you want to get it on your own you have to do the Labyrinth, in any difficulty you're comfortable with, and at the end you need to use the Divine Font on a Blue gem to roll the dice for the chance to get Frostblink of Wintry Blast.

In Merciless or Eternal Labyrinth there is a small chance to get the option to turn a skill gem directly into its Transfigured version and with Frostblink it's a guaranteed result.

I'm assuming you don't have the 100 chaos to just buy it from someone else if you're only just hitting level 76, so if you're going to try to farm the gem yourself I genuinely recommend that when you get the wrong gems to check each ones value at the official trade site at pathofexile.com/trade so that if you find something else valuable you can sell it and just use that money on what you actually want.

Though If you don't have any premium stash tabs at the moment actually selling items to other players is difficult.

If you're explicitly playing without trading, RNG grant you mercy.

You might consider the First Blood Pack, $20 gets you 20 dollars in points, one regular stash tab, and a blood weapon effect. It's definitely better than just buying raw points.

Loot boxes in PoE get their content added to the store for deterministic purchases after a while. There's no need to buy boxes if you can wait.

Fishing for transfigured blue gems is hell. Doing lab for any gem is incredibly soul draining. Every ssf player trying to get their desired gem there have balls of steel.

Just use flame dash instead or even better use a shield with shield charge/Faster attacks support/momentum and normal frost blink to cancel out the end animation every now and then. Thats the best way of zooming around in poe. Farm chaos and buy the gem. Far better than farming it in labs.

God I hate the labs. Even just rushing through them... these are just totally meh. Izaro is cool tho. My favourite voice lines come from him.

He is the sole reason I don't get totally mad when I have to do these.

If you plan to play long term, having currency, fragments and map tabs will make life a lot easier. If you do that starter pack, I would get the map and currency tabs. That will leave you with 20 points if you buy during the sale, and the fragments tab is 55 on sale.

I see for sure you want the map tab. My stash started filling up very fast.

He is probably doing an archmage build, so dual wielding wands for more mana/cast speed, for that this gem is just amazing.
It has a cast time but with high cast speed this becomes flame dash without any cooldown on it, and can actually kill packs of whites in t16s

what others said, just make sure you have a BLUE gem in your stash/inventory that you can trade in for the transfigured gem at the end of lab, you may have to run the lab a few times unless rng god bless you first time, it does happen occasionally might take a couple of runs.

*extra tips when doing lab*
https://www.poelab.com/ is a good source for running lab "D = DARKSHRINE" the zone with darkshrine can give you extra keys or an extra attempt at the font.

other alternative is if you have 90 chaos spare you could always buy it on trade.
