is poe dead ? (not bait. serious question)

don't get me wrong i love the game , but its not even in the top 100 anymore, just checked today, by current and daily players and i didn't see POE on either list. did i miss something ?.

This league is pretty dead, PoE tho is still very much alive and kicking. I know a lot of live service games that wish they had 15k peak player in the last day a decade after release.

In July it will rise bnack up to top 10 like it does each league, nothing suirprising here. And yep, thi8s leaguie was full of drama, good ideas but poor execution oiverall with nerf mid-league made people quit early.

I still liked the league personally but it sure had its downsides. The QoL stuff is welcome tho.

To be fair it went off the top 100 a couple times already. Usually later in leagues but some leagues were cleart stinkers with population dropping like a rock early as well.

mhmm fanbois of course. All time peek was 209k in 2023. This leagues peak was 187k the highest over the past year and second highest all time. Facts seem to not be your strong suit.

Game is and will be fine.

The league gimmick isn't that popular and Tier 17 map difficulty bothered some people but the core games in the best shapes it's ever been.

Steam isn't the only platform people log in from, either, so the player count isn't as dismal as some obsessive haters keep wanting it to be.

Between the D4 season still being fresh and the fact that the PoE league is 2 months old this is just the typical PoE cycle.
