I'm unaware of any concrete announcements regarding this.

It started on the 8th of December, so we're just over 2 months into the league, so there should still be a month left, possibly more. Typical (and "optimal" as stated by the devs) season length is 13 weeks, but recent ones were a bit longer due to this and that, which might happen again.

They probably increase the time this time around too, players just love this league. They did the same with sentinels i think

Theres only a 100 less player online at this moment than there was yesterday at the exact same time.
It probably has more to do with the league already going for 3 month and people just being done with it.

Almost 2 and a half months in to the league, most people have already completed their challenges and waiting for next

don't mind what some fanboys say and don't worry about the league state or it's ending date, play it and have some fun, just keep in mind that beating the campaign is not for everyone, there are people with 3k hours os gameplay who haven't pass the campaign and probably won't until the league ends

what did you do, how toxic was you?

You don't need to be toxic to get a mute, there are some topics they are VERY SENSITIVE about, like politics. I was muted for 10 min once for defending China on a discussion there, which was bizarre.
