If it had an esrb rating, it would probably be M with warnings for explicit violence and blood.
I mean, it's a great game, but if blood and gore turns you off, you probably need to stick with tamer games. Like Serious Sam, which allows you to turn off the gore. :P
Wanting to get rid of the blood and gore in this game is a bit like trying to get rid of blood and gore in Saving Private Ryan. :P
Even ABC airs Saving Private Ryan uncensored. :)
