Can The Blood And Gore Be Diminished Or Disabled?

PoE looks like a fun timesink but there is to much blood and gore for my tastes. Is ther anyway to recolor/remove/reduce the blood and gore?

Nope, it's part of the game's atmosphere.

If it had an esrb rating, it would probably be M with warnings for explicit violence and blood.

Considering once you get to ACT 3... where the blood really gets heavy in one of the level areas for stomach turning Atomsphere.. it is all part of the game.. Just be glad the game isn't first person.. Walking in a hallway where the floor/walls/ceiling is all flesh and eyeballs all watching you and making squishing sounds. While hairy spiders and skeletons roam around.. Game has a lot of creepy elements to it.

I'm kind of hoping this is a joke thread.
I mean, it's a great game, but if blood and gore turns you off, you probably need to stick with tamer games. Like Serious Sam, which allows you to turn off the gore. :P

Wanting to get rid of the blood and gore in this game is a bit like trying to get rid of blood and gore in Saving Private Ryan. :P

Even ABC airs Saving Private Ryan uncensored. :)
