Report a translation problem
The only exception is for very specific content that exists in one game and doesn't in the other. A dev took the example of a potential bear form skin in PoE 2. If you buy it, since there's no bear form in PoE 1, you'll only have it in PoE 2.
I guess my question revolves around those exceptions. I wonder what stuff from PoE 1 won’t transfer in PoE 2.
They've already explained this.
1. There are no 'class specific' MTX in POE.
2. Almost everything will transfer over - some things may not like the effects for a specific gem if that gem isn't incorporated into POE2.
My expectation is that part of the dev cycle included adjusting existing MTX so they fit the new character frames, likely with an update so they fit the new graphics as well.
This may sound like a lot of work, but it also doubles as extra cash because this means the same MTX can now be sold to new players in PoE 2.
Going forward we might see the same MTX go live in both games.
I'll give them $500 more dollars to make it happen.
