good bow for a budget crit tornado shot build

is it ok to buy a decimation bow for a crit tornado shot build or spend some more chaos orbs for a harbinger bow?

A pretty nice decimation bow carried me nicely through tier 5-6 maps back in Torment league. I think it had something like 270-290 pDPS. Going any further without a better bow would have been just painfull. I suggest you play with the numbers in poe trade filters. You will know it when you find just the right bow for you. You can try seting atleast a pDPS filter with min and max values and take the numbers slowly down untill you find some bows that are withing your price range. If you are planing to increase your crit chance you might want to have the bow base crit reasonably high. If you deal a good bunch of elemental damage with your attacks you might want to see if there is bows with "increased elemental damage with weapons" modifiers. I highly recommend that you try to grab one that is 5L. Also, remember to find out the pDPS of your current bow so you know exactly the magnitude of the upgrade.

There is so many "pretty nice" and "if only X this would be perfect" rare items for sale in poe trade that you can go ahead and be picky about your choice.

EDIT: noticed after posting that you mentioned spending more chaos so the kind of bows that will show up with my suggestions are out of chaos range. In that case maybe pick a high ilvl (like atleast 76) white 5L harbinger bow from the market (~2c max) and try crafting something out of that. First Transmutation it to magic. Then use alterations (and possibly augments) on it till you get either a % damage bonus (lets say atleast 155%. This is the most important modifier) or flat phys damage bonus (lets say atleast 30-40). Either leave it at that or use a regal orb on it. Now you have a rare bow that you can further improve with vagan/tora crafting bench (add the other damage mod you didn't get). Rare 5L bows with over 155% phys damage modifier and a crafted flat damage modifier (total pDPS over 280 at this point) seem to sell for 1ex in the market. I'll eat my hat if you can't make one yourself for far cheaper price.

IF you are are SC Perandus look me up. I have a 5l bow lv 79 harbinger in the high 200s dps range you can have. I repealced with with a bow I got from an alchy. So it is not always costly. I made a 353dps bow with nothing but an alchy, I use it on my Crit TS ranger, at level 90. Last time I played I master crafted it for the low colst of 100s of alts, a few regals, and a couple ex for the mods for a bow that had 20 less pDPS. But every time it is differnt. Perhpas you get lucky perhpas you do not, but just alchy all the white harbingers you get until you get lucky. Just PM me if you want that bow and I will meet up with you in game.
