PoE breaks all time highest player count (200k) within 10 minutes of league launching

its 200k on steam.

GGG said that during Betrayal they had ~ 310K players of which 160K were steam.

So i think overall its well over 300K this time
your post doesnt make much sense thou.


Why would PoE have less players when Diablo4 will launch in 2 months ? lol

I completely understand and really not trying to say o look for a comparison for most.

This guy just likes to post stuff bashing D4 so wanted to show him what the numbers of D4 were comparatively.

Diablo 4 will have millions of players, this at best will only have 200k only during launch day. I love PoE and have over 2000k hours played but Diablo franchise is a different beast

Got some bad news for those millions of players on day one... Good thing the blizzard launcher doesn't allow reviews.

This game is just seen as a harder and more complex version of Diablo. so Diablo is a lot more open to people in their minds. But we can see that people probably came to give this a try after the Diablo Beta to get their ARPG fix

Appeal to popularity is a fallacy for a reason, more people liking D4 is evidence that it is mediocre... have you met the average person... people suck, people like D4 QED D4 sucks.

There's nothing niche or indie about PoE these days. There's not a single ARPG fan who isn't aware of this game.

Not everyone is in this "my game is better than your game" bs-show....
I like both games. Until today I replayed Diablo 3, actually waiting for Diablo 4 and because its still almost two months until release I play the new PoE League....

So many, many players of those record are people actually like Diablo or waiting for D4, so you whole thread makes no sense.
