Well. In the end i am now here reinstalling PoE so. Speaks for itself
No.
POE is far more normie friendly and casual friendly. It's a chore to level in D4 and you finish 20 levels below where you should at the end of campaign, whereas in POE, you just naturally finish your level requirements around the end of campaign. Your gear is constantly being changed to allow for optimal gem placements along the way. It's just easier. Everything is easier.
Builds may appear easier to build, but the stat system is so intentionally convoluted most non-arpg players are going to build it wrong anyway. There are also just less builds for a casual player to pick from and follow, unlike POE.
The only thing I'd argue is harder is lvling past 84. Coming from someone whose only played a few seasons, I quit league/toons after 92 because dying takes too much XP. So I never choose builds that go beyond 92 skill points.
POE just offers greater flexibility, is more spelled out, and is a better game. That said, it's also much older, but the D4 team dropped that ball when they could have just used the best and most loved systems from D2 and D3, then built a winner.
That's too hard though.
Everything in this comment shows you don't know the game at all lmfao. 92 levels isn't 92 points. Leveling is never hard in any scenario, you're just doing it wrong. PoE isn't friendly for casuals either, you can see this from your comment xD.
D4 doesn't offer much after campaign is done, and artificial loot limitations tied to campaign completion is horrible. Maybe in 5-7 years it will be interesting, but i highly doubt it.
