Inquisitor can go into crit builds that favor elemental damage but items that favor crit can be expensive and take time to really become worth using compared to just boosting your damage normally. Still, if you can get it going, you can deal a ton of damage while being able to just ignore enemies elemental resists which in turn causes even more damage.
Berserkers are typically built around the gimmick of being hit (usually for 20%+ of their hp) for some of their buffs. If you wish to risk it, you can get a 40% MORE (which is a big boost compared to INCREASED) damage in exchange for taking increased damage from attacks. With the increased attack speed and huge damage boosts, this can get you the most DPS if you don't want to build into crits.
Slayers are built entirely around 2-handed weapons and can either go towards stuns or leech/AoE. While not the most popular of the duelist classes (everyone doing perma-fority Champions) you can get access to a free melee splash on all your melee attacks which can free up a gem slot, which in turn is an increase in damage/defense. There is also the ability to "leech" even when at full life, while also being able to get a free unwavering stance (unable to be stunned/staggered by attacks) which a lot of players will tell you is a strong thing to have in this game as getting stunlocked can get you killed easily.
Pretty much any of these can be used for solo play, it really depends on what skills/playstyle you plan on using these classes with.
