Keep in mind that that "1" stash tab is one tab in each and every league, present and future.

Development and maintenance of games cost money and the devs want to to eat their bread with butter. Just offering optional satin dessous in the shop would not generate enough income for this game. There is your answer.

It's a company. They need money to continue working on the game, besides - the only thing you can spend money on is cosmetics and more stash tabs for every character in every league in every game mode.

Better than "10% more exp for 1 hour for 10 dollars"....

I understand that the developers need money, but in my case all i can afford is 1 stash tab. Can't even afford 1 visual effect, if the price was lower then maybe i could afford it and they would probably sell more of it. But as it is know, its too expensive and not really that attractive as its just cosmetic. Same goes with the stash tab packs, too expensive even on sale.

In the end,you can pay nothing and apparently if you play it for too long,you would feel an itch to support them and help yourself in the process.It is why its the best f2p model they can have and its why its getting heavily supported by Money "whales".

And for their cycle of every 3 months a new league and every 6 an expansion,its fkin worth supporting it

People with 50+ tabs are dedicated hoarders and people who get points and wait until the stash bundles hit the daily sale.

Might take longer for some of the cosmetics to hit the daily deal but stash tabs pop up as an option pretty frequently.

One time I spent 50 bucks and only bought 2 effect skulls and some stash tabs lol, wish I knew about discounts then

Stash tab bundles are on sale regularly, almost like clockwork. Every 3 weeks.

Not sure what one your refering to exactly (I'm lying, I'm too lazy to look it up), but http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Daily_Deals has the history of daily deals, just use in-page search.

But other mtxes don't seem to be on rotation, so don't expect to make out a pattern there. But you might still see the possible discount.

For cosmetic sales just keep the daily deal tab on the website open and refresh it each day if you're not logging in to play on a daily basis. If you're logged in you can also buy items from the webpage store as well.

If you have money to spend on points then make sure to consider the supporters bundles as they tend to cost only slightly more than the points they come with plus some cosmeticy stuff on top. Expensive but the points can last a while if you wait for the sale price on things and avoid the lure of random boxes.

I think ggg is missing out on some money especially from me. If they made the crates a lot better so that they have big rewards like in csgo or tf2 I'd actually attempt to buy them, but as of now the crates have nothing special worth throwing money at for. Maybe those ebony dark wings but not even those tbh. Something big, like idk

There was a huge discussion about this on the official forums too, even with statistics.

Fact is there are a lot of people ( i think it was 29% ) that buy stuff priced at 100$+.

One more reason why everything is so expensive is - people who buy the supporter packs priced at 100$+ get tons and tons of points ( 1.100 - 4.400 points ) - so these people need something to dump their points into.

Best example is that one scorpion for 1.100 points.

There are weapon effects starting at 35 points, entire MTX Sets starting at 250+ points, pets starting at ! 5 ! points.

So there is something for everyone - and stash tabs are so often discounted you can predict it.

And the most important thing is - you don't need ANY of this. Nothing is gated behind a paywall content wise. You can clear every map - kill any boss - get any item for free. So, think about it. There are games out there where you have to pay over hundreds and hundreds of dollars just to get started and compete...
