Does block work with ''unwavering stance''?

Hello,

Does a shield with ''melee block change'' actually works with the ''unwavering stance'' passive skill? If someone doesn't know about this skill, the downside is you cannot evade enemy attacks.

Anyway, I'm not quite sure if evading and block stack with eah other

Evasion and Block stack. When a monster attacks you, the system rolls your chance to Dodge, then if that fails, your chance to evade, then if that fails, your block chance. If all 3 fail, then you get hit. If any of them succeed, you take no damage. If Dodge and Evade fail, you can get stunned by the attack, irrelevant if you block or not. Unwavering Stance just means you won't ever be stunned, but you cannot Evade attacks.

You do get hit if you block, but there aren't too many effects of mobs that use this mechanics to apply something, but e.g. viper strike should still apply a stack. You still avoid the direct damage as stated.
