giving items to other character

Hi, I started playing poe and I wonder as if I can give unique items from one character to other characters I create or not

You can as long as the characters are in the same league. Just put the item in the stash with 1 char, and pick it up with another one.

is that only for league? what if you have 2 standard characters can they share item?

yes, standard characters share stash, same for league characters and solo self found
