Complete maps with 8+ mods challenge.

Just looking for clarification here. I have done three maps now, one with 8 mods, one with 9 and one with 10 mods and none of them game the the check for completing that map. Does a map have to be corrupted for this to work? The challenge says 8+ mods is a product of vaal corruption but I have seen plenty and done several maps with 8+ mods that arent corrupted and they didnt count. The challenge doesnt say the map has to be corrupted.

Eight mods doesn't mean eight lines. Some mods have 2 or 3 lines. Only vaaled maps or maps with sextant activated can have 8 mods, a regular map can't have more than 6 mods.

prophecies and zana mods afaik count also towards this

Zana mods are explicitly stated as not working on the challenge. Just as well as sextant mods. You'll need the corruption result. (Last time there was a bug counting Actons Nightmare as 8mod, dunno if that was fixed, but even if, that's just one tier)

If you have trouble counting with the multi-line mods, grab the trademacro and ctrl-c the map, it'll count them for you,

I had a feeling that it must have been something like some mods were 1 mod with multiple affects. Thanks for the information.
