Your whole system has to work together so just the right CPU isnt enough.

MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7 SP1/Windows 8
Processor: Quad core 2.6GHz x86-compatible
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 650 Ti or ATI Radeon™ HD 7850
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 40 GB available space

RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 10

Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti or ATI Radeon™ RX560
DirectX: Version 11

Based on the numbers im looking at you shouldnt have any trouble.

If you had the want to change your CPU I would go for a s 6 cores 12 thread moving forward as a minimum.

Something like a R7 56600 or an i5 10400 for example. That said your CPU should play this game fine.

You already have plenty enough power to run the game stable at highest settings. I run the game at 3440x1440 at around 100 fps consistent with only my ancient i5 6600k and GTX1070
Hi. I had a I7 6700K with GTX 1080ti and 16GB ram. On a 2TB SSHD and later on a 256gb ssd

I then upgraded my cpu(like you) to a i7 9700k, 32gb ram and a 1tb m.2 drive ssd. Same GTX 1080ti. The biggest improvement for me was the m.2 drive. yes the I7 9700K is way better than my i7 6700K, but the m.2 I personally think is what made the real change.
