Controller teleport to party member
How do you teleport to a party member when using a controller? Or is that not a thing then?

The only way to "teleport" to a party member is for them to open a portal for you.

not true, the blue waypoint icon on their character portait teleports you to them

It teleports your to the area they are in, not to them. If they are in a map you need a portal to go through. If they are in their hideout it will take you to their hideout. If they are in town it will take you to the town.

The icon doesn’t take you directly to them.

You should be able to open menu, select player in party, select warp to player (something like this when i played last time on console).
