Why are half of my tabs in stash suddenly marked as "remove only"???

I just notice this today, and I did a search on "remove only" and this has happened to others. But what is the real reason behind this? I did purchase extra tabs. What is going on here???

new league put all of your league characters into standard, and the stash tabs they have are put as 'remove only' for you to then clear out before a time period or they're gone forever.

note: you keep all stash tabs purchased, you just get double + a couple more every league to deal with that leagues stash and character inventory when they're moved to standard

Your character (and your stash tabs) were migrated to Standard.

The Remove-Only tag means that it's a tab that was full, and they won't take away the things that were in it, but it's not actually a tab you own, so you can't put anything else in.

These tabs will remain indefinitely, but items cannot be put into them, even items which started out in that tab. Once a remove-only tab has been emptied, it will disappear."

You have 2x the amoun of stash you had before. Your char is on standard now, so you have the stadard stash tabs + the finished league. Since the game cannot "merge" tabs, they put the remove only in the ones coming from the league. It's up to you to make the cleaning.
So imagine you bought a currency tab. You go to standard and you have it there. You go to you league, and you have the league specific one since you cannot share items between standard and a league.
When a league ends. your char goes to standard, so now you have the standard currency tab + the league currency tab which will now be "remove only", so you gotta migrate from that one to the standard. As soon as the tab is empty, it will delete and you go back to your 1 currency tab.
