I think that's five but you might want to chek that out on the wiki or maybe someone can confirm.

Yep you need a prophecy for that to happen - otherwise a good source of alchemy orbs for sure. Or exchange them in the grove when the proper entchantments occures. Some of the uniques can be upgraded through prophecies and perhaps become usefull or expansive.
Otherwise if you know that you will play another char up to the top - some of this "bad" gear could come in handy while leveling again.
Oh yea, I am an Alt-Aholic for sure but I don't want to invest a ton of tabs into possible alt storage so I'd prefer to liquidate and buy when they time comes. I'd drive myself crazy trying to organize for all that.
there is something about item level and stuff that I cannot remember, but look it up
2 if all are unid and 3 if all are unid and at 20%. think it's also only rares not sure uniqs count.
Chaos is ilevel 60 - 74.

Last but not least, selling for alchemy shards.
Unique leather belts you can keep to do hail-Mary's with in Nemesis maps that you can get by sacrificing maps in the harvest crafts rarely, if you like.
I'd also always keep at least 1 of any unique just in case you need it. You get most of the common ones often enough that you'll barely notice the delay, but it keeps you from having to try to hunt down someone that put it into the shop for 1 alchy and actually REPLIES when you need it.
If you have a lot of stash space (say, a quad stash tab, for example) you may also want to keep bases of Fated uniques so you can upgrade and flip or stash them for your own use.
Some of those are worth enough to trade if they roll well, others (like a good 6-link Icetomb Turned Crystal Vault) can actually be viable pieces up to end-game if you grab one already 6-linked from the Ultimatum rewards (got mine 2 days in, still using it).
Keeping unique rings for Loreweave is also a pretty low-rent way to eventually get a pretty good chest for many builds. For that you sell an inventory full of any unique rings to the vendor.
If it's a unique that's good for builds but just cheap because it's very common, max-linking, +20ing and then vaaling it can come up with some really good options that'll sell for more than the alchemy orb it'd otherwise be worth, but that ventures into need-to-know territory (as in you need to know it's actually a very commonly used unique and which vaal outcomes would make it more attractive and valuable for the builds most commonly using it).
If you do that and you hit the right result, you can get double digit chaos even for the most common belts/amulets/rings, just make sure you don't vaal rings/amulets with "has a socket" - the vaal result will either brick it, change it to a rare or remove the socket for whatever extra explicit it'll grant, making the item almost certain to be useless.
Unique belts especially do well here, because they can roll increased effect to most common offense auras and many solo DPS builds run at least one.
