i'm really surprised they never brought controller support to PC.
As already stated:
So how are YOU, OP, going to get multiple keys to move your character directionally?
Are you aware that not all developers implement use of the mouse, keyboard, AND other peripheral simulataneously?
To add this functionality WOULD literally change the control scheme, and it costs a non-zero amount of man-hours to achieve. Something already achieved on other platforms
There is hope tho. Perhaps download some software that turns gamepad presses into key strokes. Maybe this software allows you to create macros where you click on specific areas of the screen. Maybe such macros could be bound the analog axis on a gamepad.
You are welcome.
And to OP. The game on PC is completely balanced for click move and not wasd or controllers. It is a conscious decision by the devs to not have it. The console versions are balanced differently and play differently. They are not the same. So no matter how much people want it or ask for it, it ain't happening.
IT was not designed that way.
Anyone who claims it would be easy clearly has no understanding of what is needed to do to make the game work.
Diablo 1, and Diablo 2 were the same way. There is no WASD support for those games. Even after all these years. No one can even ask for it, because of how silly the idea is.
