I know it's not needed but I want to buy some. My question is: Are there cosmetics for every class? So no, whats the coolest cosmetic for Marauder, Templar and Witch.

Yes every cosmetic is for every "class". If you buy anything you can equip it on any char you want.

For "coolest" part i cant help you. Everyone likes different things. The new ancient dread and primordial dread supporter packs looks nice in my option.

Cosmetics that are tied to classes will tell you in their name. It's hard to justify anyone complaining about "Dance - Scion" not working with say the Marauder.

Not really. Almost nothing is really cheap in the shop for what they are but GGG do sales often so prices do ofc drop a bit when they do, just have to check often what's on sale if looking for something specifically. When looking to buy coins though always look to buy supporter packs 1st as an option as you get mtx coins to spend in shop and extra mtx as well from the packs.

The cheapest way to get cosmetics is to buy a supporter pack, afaik.
You get one set of decent matched gear skins so you don't look like someone who escaped an insane asylum while you play and the supporter packs come with as many points as you could get if you bought points only with the same price.

Then you keep those points until a particular cosmetic item you like is in sale. GGG regularly discounts cosmetics but they're never cheap in any sense of the word (unless compared to particularly egregious gacha games, maybe).

If you want stuff cheap, waiting for a discount is really the only way.

You can get lucky and cop some free mtx by watching official GGG streams on Twitch if you have that functionality enabled, you can get some by completing various challenges during the league (which range from easy stuff like "beat Kitava" to ridiculous stuff like beating a specific end game boss without getting hit once or letting them accumulate extra adds/damage minions that you're usually supposed to kill to make the fight easier).

There's also rarely an event or race/challenge league going on that reward players with a chance to get MTX for reaching specific milestones. Those are infrequent though, so if you wanna take advantage you may want to check in on the official website regularly.

ALMOST every visual MTX is usable on every character whenever you want.
There are some very old and objectively badly animated dance animations that are class specific.

If you really wanna get something, i'd recommend getting Wings. Why ? Because they will probably be at least a little bit visible even if your screen is full of skill effects.
Or you can look at Skill effects for your favourite skills, but since buffs and nerfs happens, that's a more risky investment.

My best purchases were some dark armour sets. They work on every character and make it less visible, hence less of an eye-catcher. And as enemies and environmental effects are the relevant infos on screen, that's a good thing. I keep reusing them.

Wings on the other hand, imho, are distracting at best, sometimes even occluding information.

No sure what you mean by that, but if you've played PoE, you have a PoE account, it'll most likely have a steam account associated so that you can login with that, even on the website. So you can buy on that website or ingame, depending on your preferred payment options.

Mystery Boxes. You wont get exactly what you want, don't try, but if you buy a supporter pack then buy just a few mystery boxes (like 10) you get objectively the best deal on the random stuff you get. If you buy too many boxes you just end up with dupes which cancels the benefit. If you do this every league you end up with a lot of random pieces to mix and match for "cheap," plus the supporter pack stuff. This assumes you are fine with getting any of the things from that mystery box, if you are only happy with one or two things from the box then it's not worth gambling on.
