Elemental Equilibrium question
so reading the node it say that enemies hit with elemental damage gain +25% elemental resistance to that element and then -50% to the other elements. does that mean if i have a part fir and part ice spell they would end up with -25% fire and -25% ice resistance?

If it's from the same source it raises both fire and cold resist and would lower lightning resist. So you'll lower your damage

"If you hit an enemy with two different elements at the same time it will give -50% Resistance to third element and +25% to both elements used. A hit carrying all three elements types will give +25% to all elemental Resistances"

What Rinko says is correct, this will actually lower your damage which is why people avoid things like (Add to fire/cold/lightning to attacks/spells) to not gimp their EE.

they how do i properly use EE? do i just keep swapping through different spells?

Typically Summoners use it (minions don't apply it)
Elemental hit builds
Cold Degen builds
Some ignite builds

Anything that uses damage over time or doesn't constantly use the same type of damage source. A standard caster isn't going to get it. Also mines, traps and totems still apply EE so those builds don't get it.
