I can't find Fractured Walls
I am relatively new to the game. I started playing not too long ago before ultimatum started and used thee echoes league to get familiar with the game in campaign mode. I made a couple characters to find my fave one, before moving into ultimatum. I have never been able to find the fractured walls in the delving areas. For that matter I have never been able to find anything else (random loots) that is said to be on the sides either.

I tried googling it and there is nothing that helps because everyone acts as if you can see what they see. Any help here would be awesome. Pics would be better. As it stands I find it hard to not die while searching through doors and with only 3 flares allowed to be used at any given delve I am not really finding success. So my questions are:

1. How do I find fractured walls and loot?
2. How can I successfully get to them (strategy) to be able to do what I need to do there?

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

I watched a vid on youtube and it was completely useless. his character had so many tweaks and flashing lights I couldn't see a thing lol When I run into random holes I either die, run out of flares searching, or find nothing that looks different enough for me to think its a fractured wall lol the game doesn't even tell me how to blow the wall up, without blowing myself up in the process. That it only lets me carry a small amount of dynamite and flares doesn't help

that guide really helped! At least now I know how to find the walls! It is easier than I thought and way easier than running in and out of stuff like I was doing lol Clearly I will have to delve for a few to stock up on sulphite to make some upgrades though :) Now I just gotta see if anyyone has any tips on how to find success at doing it

thank I will certainly check out the discord. I appreciate the replies and how quickly they came. you guys are very helpful. this has been driving me crazy since Atlas and nothing has helped so I just kept skipping it altogether. stocked up on sulphite to an insane degree before giving up and just moving on to ultimatum. i was prepared to ignore the section again. Who knew I could find darkness resistance in passive tree before that guide told me so. Now i just have to find it lol. You guys are awesome, thank you

I had the same problem as you. It turns out they are fairly rare.

My advice:
1. up your darkness resistance
2. up your flares to at least 5
3. Only use dynamite when you do find a wall so you can keep it at 2 or 3 for now.
4. After you darkness resistance is up, make sure to have 2 quicksilver flasks and some type of teleport skill(dash/flame walk/etc)
5. As the mine cart progresses, you can lag behind and it will stop so you can explore every pathway and then race(combo of speed and teleport) back to cart light radius.
6. IF you are not going to make it back to the cart, drop a flare and rest up.
6b. Also if you find an area with monsters and chests drop a flare to kill mobs then loot.
7. Every chance I get I top off my flares back in camp
8. When in the mine, you can click on the mine waypoint node and in the upper left corner there is an option to 'return to mining encampment'. This allows you to take loot back without resetting the instance(ie ground loot wont disappear) as long as you use the 'return to mine' button in the upper left again to return back.

Get good at exploring and you will find a lot more, some are deep in, some are near mine cart path, it varies.

Hope this helps.

That's not necessary. Just follow the cart and complete the encounter.

Once the encounter is completed, the passageway will be connected and the lights will come on. After that you can stroll back down the passage and explore any side area you wish without any time pressure (beyond your flare duration that is).

Just be aware, you need to exit and return to the mine using the active cart location. If you use any other location when you return, it'll reset the mine.

No, but I find if I don't explore as I go, I just progress to next area. I bet at least 50% of players are like me and would rather not waste time backtracking. but yea, your way is safer, albeit longer.

Also more thorough. Some of those passages go pretty deep. The further down you go, the more stuff is hidden, off there in the dark.

But sometimes all I do is connect rooms too, depends on my mood.

Not really. Starting out, delves are a bit shorter, which means you often drive to adjacent cells, so you won't benefit from every cell without an endpoint having a fractured wall. If you're looking for walls (e.g. to get fossils), do longer delves, they'll have some walls.
