Some 'off' things in Expedition; unkillable enemies ...
Just started mapping, and died about 4 times before I got to this; overall I wouldn't say the game is that much harder as other posts say, but I have run into some strange behavior and was wondering if anyone else noticed any of this.

1. Unkillable monsters from the expedition event. Some that have the tag "Regen health" simply cannot be killed; you get 25% of their health down and it nearly instantly refills. I'm doing 30k Cyclone damage and easily killed two Oaks in the Mesa map, but can't kill an expedition mob = somethings not right.

2. Super tough mobs. Like the above, sometimes I get mobs that seem to have 40x the health of Atziri. Blue colored names mostly; took me 2 straight minutes to kill one.

3. Getting interupted by something during the Expedition event. I'll be cyclone'ing and every ~10 seconds my guy just stops for a moment, which is deadly when you rely on leech and 'keeping moving'. I'm not being frozen, not out of mana, and it sure as heck doesn't feel like I'm being stunned (too short an interupption).

Anyone seen this stuff?

You need to avoid the modifier that is dentrimental to your build, lets use your Cyclone as example. Lets use 100k DPS as example.
1) Enemy can block, if you some how take blow up this 2 times, they will have 85% block chance. This is more or less "you do less 40+% DPS". This can bypassed by ground effect DPS and DOT
2) Enemy has 30% to dodge atk/spell, if you blow up this twice, almost same like block. 60% of the hit will nothing happen to them. This is bypassed by ground effect DOT
3) Enemy immune to xxx damage, if you are dealing physical damage and you still blow up "immune physical damage". You can only blame yourself not reading the modifier.
4) Enemy take 30% reduced damage. If you blow up this 3 times. Enemy only take 10% of your DPS, thats means 10k.
5) enemy regen x% of HP under a condition. Definitely a DPS check. This alone is ok, but if you somehow blow up this and any of the above. No hope

Just avoid what bad to you and blow the chest is better than blow up dangerous modifier. If you blow up multiple things that is dentrimental to your build such as they can dodge and block. Then at least don't blow up the regen so you can slowly grind them to death
As something holding you in place. I not sure, but suspect is bear trap

IF you're doing that much damage, there is no enemy in Expeditions that can take 2 minutes to die. Unless you've triggered all the damage reduction mods there are. I doubt Mesa is tier 15, and even if it was, that's still more than enough damage to kill a mob on a tier 15 map in under 2 minutes.

Regen is countered by DPS, and it's only 30% of their health over 1 second, every 4 seconds.
THat's easily countered by any decent DPS.

This seems like you've been hitting the wrong modifers. Because those issues only happen when you have damage reduction issues.
