did you even play the game? no matter how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tanky you are, almost every boss has at least one one-hit kill.
That's called a pattern, this is why we have movement skills. That's part of your defence too.
The game is all about knowing what might kill you and avoid doing that content. Unless you just leveled up, super boring.
They only ever apply very late game mapping, and the perfect storm of events that is needed is not exactly an easy task. I mean, Sirius possessed rare mobs do more damage than Sirius, but still. :P They also keep nerfing the damage those things do every single league.
Not to mention all end game map bosses that have extremely powerful attacks, someone post the Sirius fight stats please, have many many telegraphs that you can make sure to get out of the way in time.
You're never going to get one shot while playing the game normally. Unless you forget to even have resistances and your build is literally a dumpster fire and you have like 900 health in act 5. :P
The only exception is Innocence's fun exciting full screen barrage of balls that only show up when the guarding statue thing is no where close to you to get behind it. :P No, really, there are two different attacks he uses. One normally, and one at very low life. Guess which one he loves to do when there's no way to get behind the statue? :P
Also, they don't even one shot you. THey just do a lot of large damaging hits pretty quickly.
It's not an exaggeration, the issue starts at the very beginning of the game.
This isn't the right thread for it.
1. all at once a pack of mobs throw super fast projectiles (not sure what type of damage they deal, chaos? poison?).
2. the kamikaze pack. Suddenly packs of mobs jumps from somewhere and explode on you, hence one-shotting me.
3. the crazy yellow elite. Teleport on you and one shot me. I wish there was some sort of "death log" where a player can at least see what happened.
Apart from these, I learnt to really take my time when I map (I'm currently doing only T5 maps) and approach mobs from far away, if possible. I agree, so far, with building different defensive layers, I think ultimately they give more chance of survivability on mapping.
Maybe map versions do a lot, but they don't jump at all.
The only yellow mob that teleports is shadow walker rares, and yes, they can be annoying to deal with.
How much health and what not do you have?
The first one sounds like the standard vaal construct. They do 50% phys and 50% Chaos.
THey're very neutered for the most part.
I have -60% chaos resistance so that probably explains why some attacks hurt me so much.
Thanks again!
This league is like the worst league you can have to start as a fresh players. Monsters / Bosses got buffed and player defensive capabilities got nerfed.
Or you can play like the Hardcore (1 death -> character lost) players, who just ignore 80% of the game, because you could die there.
