Why is Primordial might good?
I noticed this jewel is more expensive than the emminence and harmony, why is that? Most of its strength comes from recently summoning golems, but I don't summon them anymore, they haven't died in a long time.
The build I'm using includes this jewel, but not sure why.

because it gives your golems aggressive ai

i am not too well versed in the mechanics of the minion ai, but i assume it is the exact same ai as feeding frenzy.

Also, nothing is preventing you from resummoning golems. You just have to remember the order you summon them in if you stack multiple of one kind for damage.

Yes, i thought about summoning, but it takes time to resummon and it could be a bad thing to be missing 1 type of golem when it's needed. I might have carrions and chaos, but no stone and the missing taunt could be my doom.

I never have golems dying and the cast time is slow, so the only thing I ever really used this gem for is the life, and 'Summoned Golems are Aggressive' part. (Which yeah, works like feeding frenzy for their behaviour.)

I don't know which build you're following, but would make a guess and say the 'aggressive' part is the only reason for it and can easily be skipped over for an additional (and cheaper) more useful primordial gem.

If you're playing a golemancer the only reason might is there is to have the golems are aggressive. It basically makes them attack things farther away from you and they loosely follow you compared to having a defensive one where it's the opposite. Defensive is default on minions

I'm doing a carrion golem build, so likely from all you're saying the aggressive explains why it's included.
Aggressive AI is overrated imo. Just link predator support (previously deathmark support) so you can direct them to a target when needed, and otherwise have a long range attack spell on your bar that you can cast every so often. When you cast an attack spell, minions will generally look around for things to stomp, making aggressive AI not so important imo. If you don't want to have to do that, aggressive AI may save your fingers a little work, just be careful not to let them get too far away from you when enemies are about, if you can't take hits.

Maybe that's why the build includes convocation, to get them back if they stray too far. It's always fun to unravel a new build to figure out why the designer put what he/she did in it.

feel free to take it out and try without it
the aggression is absolutely necessary for any type of clear speed.

I'll definitely give it a try when I can afford it. I just finished getting the anima stone, 3 eminence, 3 harmony, and 2 of the 3 cluster jewels I need. I haven't even gotten to my equipment yet, i'm lvl 90 and still have some of my gear I had during the acts. Had I known how expensive a golemancer is, I might have tried another build, but I'm almost to my goal of 24 achievements for the cat, so no point to starting over. Not sure I'll try for 40 again, but I may.
