Twitch account linking

Ok so I dont have a poe account because i downloaded the game through steam, so I have a steam account linked to twitch. Can i get twitch drops from exile con stream? or do I have to make a seperate poe account and link that to steam and link it to twitch? how would this work? thanks in advance!
