Why are all Atziri's Step Slink Boots corrupted?

I've been looking for a Atziri's Step Slink Boots on poetrade but it's like 90% of them are corrupted? Why?

I guess people are trying for some very special enchatment? What would it be?

I just checked and there's only one corrupted atziri's step on poe.trade, and that's out of 90, are you sure you aren't checking specifically for a corrupted pair?
Checking on beastiary normal league though.

A lot of them are up by the same people, you might be on too something.

Probably from cards. Usually the Vaal cards give you a corrupted unique.
Either that or people are buying them, and Vaal orbing, hoping for that sexy +1 frenzy.
Obviously, they would 4 link it before Vaal'ing, cuase they wouldn't be able to after.

It costs 5 fusings to craft 4 links onto an item with Vorici's crafting bench. There's really no need to search exclusively for 4 links.
