(Solved) Can´t Find Documents/My Games/Path of Exile folder on my pc.

I cant find the folder in Documents/My Games/Path of Exile and idk why please help me.I see other games just like Terraria or Skyrim but i cant find a Path of Exile folder

This might be the dumbest question you read today, but did you execute the game or are you searching for that path before the first start (it probably is created upon (first) startup)?

Also, check if the folder is inside some cloud data service folder instead, e.g. under OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile

I tried to reinstall several times the game and steam, nothing works ... the folder is not in the cloud either. This prevents me from installing a lootfilter or saving my settings ...

Poe has a button under UI, Item Filters called Open Containing Folder. Try that maybe?

Ok, try monitoring the process with Procmon (from the sysinternals toolbox), start the game, close it, look for access towards an .ini file, it should be showing you whereever the game tries to access that file, then create that file and directory.

Just try to create the path and an empty file of that name with the windows explorer.

I solved the problem, the protection against ransomware was activate, that blocked the file edition. Thanks for your help !!

Probably the same way you deal with firewalls or antivirus, if they cause problems... create an exception (how exactly that is done depends on the tool in use) or stop using it
