How am supposed to solve the trials of ascendancy

Is this even a main quest, it really feels like ♥♥♥♥ing deadweight, i'm 100% i solved the damm spike trap thingy and got teleported to the start of the dungeon but the little circle still didn't appear in the hub statue
Also can i switch leagues without having to make a new character ? I don't want to play puss.y a.ss standard league after i found out it's garbage tier and nobody plays in it.

i might be slow, but this is my first rpg bird eye view game, and it's not that easy for me.
i've done a trial in prison, crematorium and the crypt. I really have no clue what else to do and how to find and finish the rest of them. Also i'd like to know about the standar vs other leagues.

you have to make a new character if you want to switch leagues.

did you click on the plaque thing at the end of the trial? thats the completion trigger.

There is a statue in A3 town that has 6 slots. Each slot represents a trial. Once all 6 are complete, you can enter the final trial to ascend (archetype for your class). The 6 slots will tell you where the specific trail is located if you aren't sure (when hovered over with mouse).

Note that traps like that are percentage based, not flat damage. This means, at level 1 or 100, youll take that same fraction of damage (such as half your health per second as an example).

Characters can no move to newer leagues, but in certain circumstance, they can drop leagues. For example, I play hardcore. If I die, my character isnt lost, just moved to standard, non-hardcore. Which, for me, might as well be dead and gone.

once you get to the last room there is a statue thingy you click and then a portal opens and you teleport back, so you should have that trial checked as solved.

once you have all the trial you can to the lab, which kicks you out to restart if you die just once.
Once you complete the lab you can pick your subclass and get traits, so it is important to do the different labs.

I personally always wait a bit until i overlevel the lab because it is a bit annoying sometimes.

people can mess anything up...companies can spend billions to try fool proof something only for one exceptional idiot to ruin all that work.
