Remove them from the game and drop the loot directly (or let them be applied to maps as something that adds to the boss-drop instead).
It's an annoyance to stash them if you find many as they don't stack, it's annoying to use them (the kill counts aren't even equal between them), they prohibit playing too dangerous encounters (ever lost some items from them in Delve due to your death?) - so they undermine the risk/reward theme of the game, and they are an annoyance in trade, as it clutters API and display with the information on the items...
They would have been more intriguing as divination cards with a stack size of 1, and those go against the perceived nature of divination cards.
And while we're at it, remove the partial uniques from Harbingers... nothing else uses the concept of combining items by laying them next to each other, scrap it.
1. Time-Lost Incubator - Valuable unique drops (The best I got was inspired learning from this)
2. Thaumaturge's Incubator - 21/23 gems, Empower/Enlighten level 4 (Got both of them)
4. Geomancer's Incubator - 6 linked item
3. Diviner's Incubator - Stacked decks.
The rest is utterly trash and I see no reason to pick them up.
