Why do the exiles go back to oriath?
[MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]

Some of them make complete sence why they would, some are on the edge, and others just dont make sence at all. Please tell me what the reason is each of the exiles would want to go back to oriath?

Marauder - Makes sense
He wants to go back to free his people and once that is achieved continues to defeat the evil god his people believe in.

Templar - Makes sense
After completing the task his god has given him, his god gives him another task. Free oriath of the heretics.

Witch - Pushing it
She has already found, and killed, the strongest sorce of "magic" ever; as stated by sin. So why would she go to oriath? Only thing I can think of is following the dark powers in hope of finding something stronger, even though she has already been told she never will.

Shadow - Pushing it
A killer for higher, why would he want to leave a place which demands his skills? Only reason I can think of is revenge for the ones who betrayed him, which I don't think he even gets.

Duelist - No
All the duelist cares about is dueling and fans, of which there is a perfectly good arena in Sarn that has both. He has no purpose to leave other then maybe to say ♥♥♥♥ you to the templars, which he already did by killing domonious.

Scion - No
She cares nothing about her status and just wants to "do the right thing". It would make sense she would go to oriath to protect her home but she should have no way to know its in any danger and there is plunty of things that need to be done in he current one.

Ranger - Fail
To protect the wildlife? How does she know things are bad in oriath? Isn't there still a lot of wildlife in waeclast that needs fixing?

I have not beat the game with any class yet, nor have I gotten very far with most so maybe I'm missing a story piece here. Regardless I don't think the exile would listen to tsuani just because he says "oh there is a teleportation device that goes to oriath, want to go sightseeing?"

Why bother with this...they never go into vast personal detail with each class...
In other words, it could be for any undocumented reason.

The most you are going to get is maybe this - maybe that.

It saddens me that no one has been able to answer this.

Well the easy answer is that Oriath is safer and more comfortable than jsut surviving in wraeclast,
you've got good reasons for some of them but not others so I'll try and fill in.

The old Duelist intro used to say that he would live to "hear them call my name in the Oriath arena once more" true sarn has an arena but its kinda ruined and the exiles are more about survival, besides theres not as many of them, if you were a rockstar you'd want to play to the biggest audience posible.

Witch shes got the power now she needs to use it for something, she doesn't seem the type to go live in the woods by herself, theres also the strong desire for vengence, the old intro had her say. "if only they listened to their fear, if they hadn't taken my home from me, I would not of taken their children" so yeah she likes to get even.

Shadow is easy too, he kills people for money, more money and work in the big city, you don't really see to many assassins in small towns.

And the ranger if she wants to protect nature isn't going to sit back while she knows the templar are destroying it she's gonna do something about it.

Shadow and Duelist - would both go back because Oriath is where the money is.

Shadow's a killer-for-*hire* and no matter what the demand is, its about who can pay the most. And they can pay better in civilization.

Duelist - *maybe*, if he's seriously solely in it for the challenge. But its pretty clear that the money and glory that come along with succeeding are pretty attractive too.

As for the rest - temporal power man. Temporal power. Same thing that got them sent into exile into the first place.

Oh, and this isn't a 'may contain spoilers' post. It is a spoiler.
