First blood bundle on xbox one

ive seen this bundle on xbox one pre-order and wonder if its worth the purchase. it says 200 points, first blood weapon effect and an extra stash tab.
Since ive never played Path of exile before, i want to ask all you veterans what you think about that pre-order and if it would be worth it.

I wouldn't "preorder" a free2play game. Test it, see if you like it, then buy something. The initial stash tabs should be sufficient for a playthrough of acts 1-10 (the endgame mapping system follows, in which you might want more). A stash tab costs like 2$ on sale (dunno if the xbox version will have such sales), and a weapon effect is of debatable value, so you're getting 2$ extra value... but need to upfront 20$. Not really a huge benefit, especially if you look at statistics (read steam achievements) saying 50% don't even make it past the first "boss".

thx for your info. But i have to say that warframe is also a f2p game and i regret it not havin it started back at release since that founders only warframe isnt available since then.
So if the weapon effect is pre-order only and cant be bought later ingame i might regret it again not havin it pre-ordered.
And is it really possible to get to endgame kinda never havin too much to grind or is it all p2w again?
And finally, do i get a lot for them 200 points? What would be the value of 200ponits in real cash?

10 points are a dollar, so 200 points are 20$. While I cannot say anything about prices on xbox specifically, I can give you the link to the pc versions store: https://www.pathofexile.com/shop - Visual stuff is often pretty steep in price, 20$ will not be enough for some Armour sets etc.

Note that besides the visual stuff, the only p2w aspects - depending on the definition of p2w - are stash tabs and possibly some character slots and the like. No experience or loot boosters, no real money keys to access later parts of the game (shame on you, Hellgate).

I've played this and last league with just the default tabs or equivalent* up until about level 72 each. Which means beating the campaign at least in the current balance (it wasn't needed a league back).

Well, it's by "grinding gear games". While I did not have to grind for gear this league to beat the campaign, other players might need to, depending on their skill, luck and co. You'll grind in maps, possibly even in the campaign if you can't beat a boss. Grinding for gear, levels or whatnot is part of the identity of ARPGs...

Well, sure, but if the exclusivity of mtx is in any way comparable to PC, you'll spend hundreds of dollars just for some effects/skins/... you won't be able to buy later. See e.g. https://www.pathofexile.com/purchase - all those supporter packs are time-limited and the stuff in it will not be acquirable once they're gone. There are multiple sets of supporter packs per year.

Just to be clear: this stuff is expensive but there are no advantages to it except for the extra/special stash space packs.
The effects / armor sets will not make this game easier.
