Loreweave vs Belly of the beast
I am currently following a Molten Strike Berserker build that suggests a Belly of the beast, however, stat wise Loreweave seems much better?

So what does your guide say in regards to the reason for the choice of body armour?

This is the build, it mentions that this body armour is the best combo for this build that focuses mostly on strength.
However, im gonna be running the flasks a bit differently, so I won't need the Elemental resists from Belly of the beast, instead I opt towards Loreweave for extra damage.
8-24 to all attributes, great for Brutus Lead Sprinker, trying to get the most strength I possibly can.
More crit chance,
Ele damage and phys damage.

Imo,
budget: up to 8ex>>get 6l belly
budget: up to 30ex+>>get well rolled 6l loreweave

It's also a build from before 3.10, the video doesn't show any regard for cluster jewels. I don't particularly like the hiding of the pastebin etc. Would not recommend that publisher.

Be that as it may, you can always change stuff up, if you can mitigate the weaknesses you introduce at other points, feel free to try it out. Loreweave has rather many rolls, so it's hard to get a decent one.

Whatever you decide, compare your options using Path of Building.

What makes Loreweave so good is its unchangeable boost to max resists. Curses and map mods can't lower it, so your defenses against elemental damage are much, much better. Against pure physical damage, the raw HP of Belly wins out.

Keep in mind that Loreweave also overrides all passives or other items that modify your max resistances.

That said, a 76% Loreweave is fairly useless, and a 78% one is very expensive if the other stats are rolled well, too.
