How to stack so much Energy Shield?

Is there a special way to do this like nodes or jewels?
I get ES as many as I could but still cannot surpass 6k. I have slightly better gear from other player but their Energy Shield can reach up to 9k.

One way that doesn't take a ton of expensive gear is the Guardian ascendancy notable Radiant Faith, which grants 1 flat energy shield per 10 mana you have reserved. It's a Templar ascendancy, so getting loads of mana shouldn't be hard and you can nab the Arcane Will notable near the Witch start to get even more energy shield per mana.

try getting a body armour with 450+ es (you can get a 450-550 for 1-10c), and you should have over 7k es, if you have a good amount of es% scaling from the passiv tree and decent es on the rest of your gear.
another way to get more es, is from the new cluster jewels, the small cluster jewel with es%, can roll a notable called Energy From Naught that gives 100 flat es.

Also note that you want to quality your gear up, try to rely on ES only gear (the hybrid variants with either Armour or Evasion mixed in have significantly less ES) and don't neglect Intelligence. Once you're reached your thresholds for Strength as well as Dexterity to wear your gear (includes skills), you'd prefer Intelligence over the other two for pathing on the skill tree and on items: Every 10 intelligence grants 2% increased maximum energy shield.
