What skills should I use to easily proc Holy Relic?

I'm playing a Witch Summoner and my methods for directly attacking are limited only to the default attack as I mostly use supportive skills for myself or my minions.
Unfortunately my Minions tend to kill things before I get a chance to hit anything myself, meaning I don't get much use out of Holy Relic unless it's a more tanky enemy or boss.

Is there any recommended skills I can use that counts as me getting "Hits" on enemies to trigger Holy Relic? Preferably passive but I'll try whatever I'm recommended.

Has to be an attack. So spells will not trigger the holy relic. I'd look into some form of ranged attack. Or possibly a melee attack that can be executed at a longer range, like frost blades.

Most witch builds do not run Holy Relic. Stone golem is usually a better option for minion HP regen. It's usually included more often in templar hybrid builds.
