Spell Totem life leech

I am building a totem templar but my problem is life can spell totem leech live for me? i cant leech from other spells because of Ancestral Bond if not whats my best option

Not entirely true, there is also the scion node for chieftain and the trolltimber shield that allows this.

For indirect skills, like traps, minions, totems, the leech goes back to them, not you.

As stated above, there are a few ascendencies and items that can help. otherwise, Life Regen is a decent alternative.
