I might even be convinced to spend somethin like 20$ for a full costume but to pay the full price for a new release AAA game is absolutely ridiculous!

I understand that F2P and blah blah but let's be real. 60$ for a gahd dahm costume is some BS.

By your style of writing we can already tell that you are at least 15 years old and have no understanding of how economy works but let me educate you.
Free 2 play game does not provide developers any kind of income besides micotransactions.
Path of Exile developers gives us ENORMOUS ammount of content each league, each employee has to get paid for their effort. There is NO ITEM in the poe item shop that provides you with boosts that gives you advantage gameplay wise.
Everything is pure cosmetic items, every each one of them had to be sepperately designed by graphic designer and implemented into the game by programmists.
Considering that you can fully customize your outfit for 60$ it is a fair price.
You usually pay 60$ for an AAA game.
here you pay 60$ for costume you are likely to use for the whole league or even longer. If you think this is a lot then you have no idea what you are talking about.

I hope you realize they give out free cosmetics every league. You just have to be good enough to get them.

You are not the first one to say this and I very much agree with your opinion. I am hesitant to spend $60 but if they were $20 I would buy one every league, maybe even multiple. I think GGG would end up getting more money if they lowered the prices.

Depends entirely on things like where you live, do you have a job, how much you get paid, do you have a family, does your wife/husband have a job, do you have kids, how big your other living expenses are, etc. I'd imagine that most people in russia for example can have a real hard time shelling out that $60.

as always when someone says this, you have absolutely no idea. ggg has people on staff who get paid to do that math and they have actual sales numbers to use. you have no numbers and just say this because you want things to be cheaper..

Pretty sure they don't since they have never tried lowering the prices. All they can do is estimate.

GGG decided on the current prices when they introduced their first mtx cosmetics. Back then there wasn't as huge selection of different premium cosmetics so the prices made sense. Then they started adding more of them and now we have like twenty times the amount we used to.

they put things on sale all the time. they gather data on sales at different price points. older mtx are MUCH cheaper than new ones in the store. look at the old weapon effects they are like 10 points or something.

Thats the thing though, I bought a supporter pack many years ago but it seems now I have nothing to show for it except an extra animation for fireballs
