Poe trade macro price check question

So when i press ctrl+d
it shows me 3 prices:
Average Price:
Trimmed Mean (20%):
Median Price:
What is the right price to choose?

As far as i know median means its the middleground calculated from all factors , right?
So median would be the right one to choose?

Median is the middle data point of all of them, after they are ordered by size.
For example you have 5 data points: 7;2;15;4;8 - odered as 2;4;7;8;15. Then 7 is the Median.
Average for the same sample would be: (7+2+15+4+8)/5= 7,2
Trimmed Mean would kick out the lowest 20% and the highest 20%: (4+7+8)/3= 6,33

My guess is that that Median is a good go to. Trimmed Mean is good for large markets. Both are less affected by outlying very high or low values.

Average is the easiest to get and the most useless.

So yeah, I'd go for the Median atm.

Also try ctrl + alt + D, this will trim your options for the item making it easier to price. It also shows you the active prices for items within the range of stats you pick.
