must have been a pretty bad joke.
If you would play like me almost 6 years then you would realize GGG does not want a cheesy game where everything gets served by a bunch of servants to a guy who masturbates while playing.
The point is you should work around the resist as best as you can, like with other resistances in the game. From what i have experienced lower level delves are as much profitable as higher ones (except for biome specifics) in terms of fossil caches.
Simple rule will suffice - If you have low darkness resist at that level, explore with caution.
That's easier said that done, not all builds are built around movement speed, summoner builds have a tough time in Delve even with shield charge.
Temple was far better than delve in my opinion, it was fun to do. Delve is so anti hardcore that so many i've never seen on softcore rolled there just for this league.
while running with the cart, movespeed is actually bad... it scales of your MS.
with a non melee summoner its actually better to stay back as far as possible in my opinion.
shield charge in my opinion is bad in the mine aswell. with that many walls, running is just better and faster.
and yes while summoner's are not the fastest builds, you still get them fast enough to run every sideway into the darkness.
Heavily disagree! I run a summoner-build this league and I LOVE it for delving! It's so forgiiving for my sloppy mistakes I do when tired after work. It's my first time running summoner, so i follow a recommended build from the forum. I have no issues farming darkness neither.
I loved the temple and was a bit salty at the start of delve, because I missed Alva. But the more I played Delve the more I liked it and I prefer it over Inqursion now.
the cart scales off your movement speed, if you play a slow crab the cart is also very slow, if you play a char with 300% move speed the cart will also be fast. and in this regard delve is better than incursion because in incursion you needed a semi fast char to actually clear the 10 incursions to open the doors
What makes it seem safer than it is is the fact you can control the level and depth you're in. Generally if your build isn't ready yet, take less risks in Delve the closer the monster level is to yours because the mechanic itself can be harsh. If the mobs are too much for your dude, theres nowhere to run or hide either. You can start taking more risks in depth levels where your darkness resist is 75%.
"Ahh, Atzoatl."
or well brick your gear haha. but not every player has the mindset to corrupt expensive gear.
yet they always feel forced to and then give up after the first fail.
