100% GPU Usage
I have 100% GPU usage in this game and this game only no mater the settings. Every new game from 2018 is running fine with GPU being at 35-50%.

I have Nvidia GTX 1060 Ti 6GB and my friend has GTX 660 Ti 4GB but his usage in the same game on the older card is 44-55% GPU usage.

Can anyone help? I really dont want this of all the games to just randomly over heat the crap out of my graphics hard.

Then your driver is not suitable. It should try to increase fanspeeds as much as possible to keep it cool and before reaching unstable conditions, should perform actions to prevent that from happening, like a thermal shutdown. This is a lower level problem, not user/application level stuff.

See https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2752/~/nvidia-gpu-maximum-operating-temperature-and-overheating
If a GPU hits the maximum temperature, the driver will throttle down performance to attempt to bring temperature back underneath the maximum specification. If the GPU temperature continues to increase despite the performance throttling, the GPU will shutdown the system to prevent damage to the graphics card.

OMFG.. the problem was that it runs on the lowest settings at 100% nd not the drivers what is there to not understand? Its now fixed and runs on full settings at 38 to 45% GPU.

Either it was within safe ranges or it wasn't. If it was in safe range there wasn't any need to bring them up as if they mattered.

Yet no other game does that.. or should do. Im not running a 3D rendaring sofware. The latest releases are 55% usage max.

Shouldn't do what? Use the resources available and allocated to it? Or overheat?

An old game that isnt supposed to use 100% of the GPU shouldnt randomly overload the GPU like a rendering software for 3D renders. I don't get what you dont understand? Do you want Far Cry 3 for example overload your GPU for example because of a stupid bug?

What does the age of a game have to do with it? It's not like PoE is unmaintained... m(

I don't quite get why you'd run software on a device that's so eager to commit thermal suicide, maybe try a different manufacturer. No sanely configured modern system will run at unsafe conditions.

Yet i never had a single problem with over 40 games installed untill i downloaded the terribly optimised garbage known as PoE. I dont even know what you're talking about at this point i have a feeling you seeking attention. I said multiple times it runs as it should now.. i dont know what you're still going on about.

I might be too late to the party...

- Get some softwawre to cap FPS to 60...

Brings me from 90 - 70 degrees.

Fanboy who's named after a dog and has VAC bans for cheating in games.. just relax your game is poorly optimized. The GPU overheats past its safe limit, perhaps you dont know what you're talkng about. I tested it and it reached 89°. I also looked into it where people on reddit and other platforms talk about the game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up their GPUs without them even knowing it was at 100% usage. And how about you go look after your 2 children instead of streaming for 5 hours per day to 0 viewers on twitch, sounds like a better way of spending your time.
i dont know where to start because you are so wrong on so many things..

1. i have no vac and what does it have to do with my comment ?
2. what does my picture to do with my comment ?
3. fanboy because of my comment ?

now the important things

4. you thing you set a frameratelimit with dynamic resolution. your example was 60 or 30fps. you clearly dont know what it means. its NOT a cap ! you wonder why your gpu load is not lower if you set it to 30fps ? because its NO cap !

5. 89°C and 100% load on your gpu is your own fault. its a bad/ceap cooled card or your vent settings are way to low. 89°C means our card downclocks already past 83°C. my 1000 card never goes above 50°C with 100% load

6. 100% load is not bad thing at all except you card runs hot like yours (see 5.)
you dont want more then 60fps and lower load ? cap it with any random program or use vsync.

ok name us one of your 40 games where your gpu dont reach 100% gpu without any cap like you did in PoE. if you dont reach 100% without any cap its because your cpu bottlelecks your gpu !

yet you couldnt figure out your 'problem' which was toggling the vsync after claiming you tried EVERY SETTING then continue to talk ♥♥♥♥ with an attitude then personally attack someones life who was just offering suggestions.

Then when asked for proof of your claims you fail to ackknowledge or answer anything and then claim everyone here has 0 clue and no ones talking about the original problem because youre the only one here with a problem. Classic

blaming a game for bad temps.
You were actually born wrong if you cant understand what was previously said. The fact that I had to instal "gforce experience" exclusively so it can optimize this game says it all. Yet no AAA game has a similar issue, but this f2p trash does.

The HEEEEELLL are you talking about? no one, has to use that crap, for any game.
He has to use it to enable vsync because hes a noob and dont know to enable it via nvidia settings.

Funny thing is he thinks gforce experiance does some magical things to fix broken f2p PoE. Real story is it does nothing except enable vsync ;)

I hear POE is on Xbox now, maybe the OP should go play that version, as PC gaming is clearly outside thier IQ spectrum. . .
