Shaper memory fragments

I'm new to exploring Atlas, so I need advice from experienced players. At the moment I struggle through white maps for 2 days because higher ones just dont drop. As I needed to finish shaper's map tier 6+ to get first fragment, I was lucky to buy one such map from Zana (Dunes T7). I rolled twinned mod on it and during boss fight some shaper's agent appeared. But not the bosses nor agent dropped any fragment.
So, can someone explain me why? Because I dont think i can find such occasition anytime soon.

It's not any map, the maps dropping a fragment have a blue cicle around them. The maps also need to be under elder influence (don't mistake it with shaper influence, elder is represented by the tentacles).

Also to get a lot of maps there is no mystery, you need to alch your maps to get good pack size and loot quantity. Then you need to up the tier by using the vendor recipe : 3 identical maps = next map of higher tier.
If you really need them you should also buy them from players.

You might wanna look up what is the situation of the map you're about to open.

Look at the atlas, if your map has a shaper or elder influence, there'll be more things to worry about than the regular map mobs and boss mechanics.

I dont see any elder influence yet. And the guide says i need to get 1st memory for it to appear. Which is on any t6+ shaper map.

And i play SSF, buy every map from Zana. But if T1 maps almost always drop few other tier 1-2 maps, tier 5-7 on the contrary drop 0-2 maps which always few tiers below

To get the first memory fragment, simply try to follow the shaper on your atlas. The maps under shaper influence have this galaxy shiny thing around them. In the middle of the boss fight the shaper will appear and make the boss stronger. If you follow him enough one fight will end in giving you the first fragment. I think for me it was the fourth time... The shaper will at first think you are no threat. After following him and killing his bosses he will get angry :D
After that you will see the elder influence on your atlas and also in this elder influences you will see maps with a blue circle. This bosses will give you the next fragment. The shaper will not always appear in shaper influenced maps but sometimes... does this help you?
Oh and maps can only drop if you already expierenced them or if the map you are in is connected to a map you did not yet find.
