Cyclone or Blade Vortex?

Doing a Shadow playthrough wanted to know if it was worth upgrading to cyclone or not?

follow up, how tf do i get cyclone in a shadow playthrough? wiki says its not a reward or being sold as a shadow

they are completely different. have you been investing in spell damage? cyclone will not benefit from that.

do the library quest in act 3 or lily's quest in act 6 to get access to all gems. or just buy from another player

i've done all the story act 3 quests and clarissa is still not selling cyclone

why not both?

Cyclone + CoC BV or CoMK BV

either works well, if you go trickster with shadow you have the option of making your movement skills like cyclone cost 0 mana along with some buffs for when you use movements skills.

Blade Vortex does very well if you can get enough blades going, at max blades you are a blender and it synergizes pretty well with +damage stuff like with heralds.

Guy above me suggested both with Cast on Crit. It can be done, but what you have to remember is that Cyclone is an attack, and Blade Vortex is a spell. Generic Physical Damage will apply to both of the skills, but melee or weapon specific, damage will only apply with cyclone.
