Can't Alt-Tab

So i'm not sure if it's my graphics card driver update I did today which I doubt because this was happening before I updated... But I get on today and all of a sudden if I alt-tab from PoE it freezes and sometimes can't be closed... Anyone having this issue? Been playing for a few days now and this never happened until today

do you play on fullscreen mode? if yes - switch to borderless fullscreen

I do play in fullscreen, I'll try that thanks man, but still curious as to why this would happen when no settings were changed :S

It depends on what you're alt tabbing to, If its a browser like chrome with more than a couple tabs open then that may be the issue. I actually just had this happen to me a couple minutes ago while checking the prices on some stuff. Had the game in fullscreen and like 4 or 5 tabs in chrome open for whatever reason, And Chrome being a Ram hog It sort of just all collapsed and loked up.

I tried windowed mode like the other guy said, that didn't work, and mostly it's just to check Discord when I want to alt tab. I just don't understand why this didn't happen yesterday or the past week but all of a sudden today :(

what you mean by "didnt work"? windowed mode dont work or does it still crash on alt tab?

Still crashes on alt-tab only randomly though it's super weird :S but I dunno :/

Running a different resolution than your desktop?. Alt-enter? also win 10 did some recent updates and messed drivers up. I couldn't alt-tab properly in fallout 4 or use win-key+G until I reinstalled my drivers. Then everything was fixed. Also remember to run things in admin mode!

It seems to have smoothed out a bit, and I'm magically able to alt-tab again lmao i'm super confused but something seems to have fixed it. Thanks everyone :)

Yeah most of the alt-tabbing was to check discord if someone had messaged me or whatever, and I just got back into PoE so my character is like 5 days old or something, and for the entire time i've been playing until today ( before updating my gpu ) I couldn't alt-tab it was super weird.. But like I said it's magically working again so i'm not complaining lmao XD Thanks again everyone :)
