NOOB Question about killing kitava act10

So i was wondering if you have alrdy killed kitava in act10 with 1 toon and have access to things you want or why even bother killing that boss since its drops your res ???? Cant you just go to mapping straight up ?

you took 12h in a 67 area from 58 to 79 with half of the time with exp penalty

the last char I leveled were in blood aquaduct from 60-68. took me on avg 4 runs per level with 2min per run. so it took me more or less 1h for the 8 levels.when finishing blood aquaduct and moving on with the story you will at least make 2-3 levels till reaching kitava.

in most cases its not that worth to push that high, I just did it to not face izaro with less than 3k life :D

point is, its not really worth in any way, no matter if experience or currency wise to overlevel that much act 10

12h for 21 levels are not really that quick, besides if merc lab are not really important for the build the newbie could also delay it further in the past, or just do 1 unid chaos recipe and buying a merc lab carry

also the whole "do lab before kitava" thing was brought into the topic because of the lab farmer thingy. if you do a lab farmer then you had atleast a map ready char with whom you farmed the map trials and probably gear for your lab farmer. in this scenario the player wont be a newbie anymore.

So what gives - if someone is helping you out resists won't matter that much, cause you won't participate in the dangerous parts either and if you can't evade traps, get an anti-bleed potion or learn how to evade them on normal lab first.

why should someone learn the traps in normal lab instead of merc lab?

pretty sure you got the labs down wrong here, cause merciless lab is several times more difficult, Kitava is a joke in comparison.

the difficulty is like on another world than Kitava, just google how many ppl had issues doing it prior 70. Don't know when you played the last time, but I hope were done with this now, just ridiculous.

i do merc lab before 68 on every character. i usually do uber lab right at 75. on my current character i did it at 72.

I don't know when you played the last time but it definetly is. Kitava is just one boss fight with easy dodging, Merc Lab you have to face the boss 3 times, in the final showdown there is limited space to avoid his lethal attacks. Most people won't even survive Brutus if they have to melee while lacking defense and sustain.

not to mention you can simply zerg down Kitava all on your own if you have the dps or simply enough time, while lab you have to start over from scratch.

Must be fun to make new players unhappy with bad advice. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't give a second thought about writing you another reply. You didn't even consider one argument I made. You should know better than that.
