remnant of corruption
they're already so rare along with essences and the high tier ones, that using it shouldn't have an option to just unlock the essence monster. this is b.s. The last (and only times this league) 2 times I did it, it just unlocked it and I lost any upgrade. why is this even an option, it shouldn't be?!

this is the only negative outcome and its not even that big of a deal. compare to what a vaal orb can do to an item.

remnants are like 4c just buy another one

losing the remnant isn't the problem. finding the essences worth upgrading are the problem as I've explained. I cleared explained what I'm talking about so I don't know why you're responding with an irrelevant statement. The essences worth upgrading are rare, so a remnant not upgrading it is the problem, not obtaining more remnants.
