If you're using a loot filter it doesnt hurt to check what its hiding from you.
what is your HP @ currently? 1500ish?
Yeah you guessed it, lol. I'm right by one of the life clusters in the Duelist tree though so It's gonna go up 20% tonight. I still feel it's low for my lvl tho, kind of brutal as Ranger not much health around.
AS a ranger you may want to look into a teleport skill to gtfo when needed.
I can beat all ten acts on a 1500hp melee build consitently life is far less the factor then capped resists and high phys resist. Evasion tends to feel pretty useless to me after act 3 or 4.
So many of my characters end up traveling towards iron reflexes no matter the class or skills used.
Also regen lots of regen If you aquire all the good regen uniques you then know what you need to fill in with passives and other gear slots to finish off resistances.
Also for new players I often suggest finding an odd slot to stick vaal summon skeletons I find it a great oh ♥♥♥♥ button to provide plenty of distraction for abit of a breather at the beginning of a big fight.
Or a decoy totem or smoke mine. For new players lots of fun little tricks that can help you beat the 10 acts. they wont take you too far into mapping but mapping is more for long time hard core types
The add phase can be harder if you lack the damage to oneshot them.
With 1.5k hp it's a little bit difficult because everything that hits you will kill you. I had 2k life and 1k ES at that point
I'm a melee Raider so yeah it's a little harder for us. If I fought him again I'd probly do better now that I got his patterns down he still hurts like a ##### tho.
About the HP and ES I dunno how u do that as a Ranger class without sacrificing a ton of DPS and stats, evasion, armor, etc. and going all over the right side of the tree chasing life nodes
Not playing pure evasion builds tho. My first char ever was a duelist and I was like yeah gonna go full evasion and failed hard haha. And since the ES nerf I start with totem builds.
Massive mobility. And you can invest in the life nodes on the left side pretty easy if you start as templar/marauder
The system behind drops makes zero sense whatsoever in this game... you're in a lvl 46 area and u get absolute trash lvl 25 items. You have level 90's selling lvl 50 uniques because that's what dropped for them.
This is one area where Grim Dawn just ####'s all over this game. In Grim Dawn if u kill a really strong guy it's possible that you can actually get a good weapon that is a couple levels higher than you. That never happens in this game.
In this game u get what u needed in Act 4, in Act 5 or 6.
but getting full equipped in like 2h without much effort is not that fun either.
Well I'm not saying that I want to be equipped in 2h. They should just buff more skills.
There is a reason why there are just a few low budget starter builds, because all the other skills itself are not strong enough to work without good gear.
Giving no flexibility traps people in the trade of exile mentality and will prevent a lot of people exploring options or even considering SSF, a mode I have always played even before it became a more concrete ingame setting. I had done minimal trading before but always to get rid of stuff and never to buy gear.
