Flicker strike and lag?
Sometimes I can't move while casting flicker strike, sometimes the enemies stop moving and just teleport to me, sometimes I see the enemies die around me while I don't move at all (button for flicker strike is still pressed).

I've had a previous topic yesterday about this, but people said I have to switch from lockstep to predictive, that didn't help at all, some people said it was my very unstable connection, my connection seems quite stable to me.

edit: apparently I'm "flicker striking" on targets that aren't even there

Same with whirling blades from time to time. Perhaps we should call it rubberbandingblades and ruberbandingstrike?

Well, on top of that lag, my game crashed 2 times now due to some source code errors :(

Apparently I cannot printscreen it, so all I know is that the message for that error was entirely empty.

rubberbanding can happen to all fast moving skills in the game, not just WB and flicker strike. but the typical symptoms for rubberbanding are that you want to move forward but it bounces you backwards, which is not the case with the OP.

It sounds more like network lag to me while using lockstep mode.

just to be sure for your connection, you could run a WinMTR simultanously and check if it records something abnormal in the connection.

Oh sure, but this literally happens from time to time with movement skill. I suppose when I do the chance I could see where and if there is a network fault. In any case I've changed from lockstep to predictive a long time ago....

rubberbanding dont means necessarily a network fault. afaik it appears when you move faster than your network delay / ping.

Okay, well thanks for the explanation.

I already tried switching, it's the same on both.

As for moving faster no, I'm moving normally, it's just that enemies teleport around, and sometimes I'm jumping on enemies that are already dead (attacking the air)
