But... Avatar of fire converts ALL elemental into fire. Lightning doesnt go directly into fire.
IMO others avatars could just go to various places on the tree.
Or perhaps they could all belong to the witch and shadow;
Witches mono-element clusters could be turned into a circle with an "avatar of" at the pinnacle.
Shadows shadow cluster could have an "avatar of chaos" that converts 50% of all elemental and physical damage into chaos damage, too.
My point is that there are no Ice or lightning Keystones at all. They seem too important to be left without a big kicker that defines the playstyle. Ice for instance could just increase the area of effect/projectiles created or something but limit you to only ice damage. You would become a walking blizzard of death thats completely unnavoidable.
There are many powers to give and while conversion would be cool you can always code around it if its not viable with how the system works. Im not trying to get an exact copy for ice, im just wondering why there isn't anything for ice even though most other general classic builds have things they like. Minions have a keystone to explode and another to take your shield.
Keystones are so much fun afterall and any main playstyle should have one they build the class around. Im not saying every build should use keystones, just that Ice and Lightning seem like pretty major parts of the game so even if you can't convert all damage into lightning or ice you should still have something that makes them feel special when you invest into them completely.
Just to be clear you read my post or atleast the first part right? I did not mean an exact copt of avatar of fire, i just meant a Keystone to make them more unique and fun.
I mean maybe there are difficulties with balance when you force 1 element on someones build. I would think at the very least you could just decrease all other damage directly and make the passive give a substantial buff. something like -100% and +50% you know.
